Mr Jose E. Prieto, President of Business Initiative Directions, and Mr. Craig Miller, President of the QC100, gave to Mr. Salih Bekaroglu, General Manager of Istanbul Halkekmek, and to Mr. Erdogan Sipahi, Factory Manager, the International Quality Summit Gold Category award.

Istanbul Halk Ekmek (IHE) is a Turkish factory dedicated to bread production. With 30years in this particular field, nowadays, the company counts with 3 factories. According to several researches, 2 million breads are being consumed a day only in Istanbul, and with a daily production capacity exceeded 1,8 millions, IHE succeeds almost in feeding all Istanbul population.
